Carl is a technologist turned engineer/research hybrid. Having worked in startups for the entirety of his career, Carl is at home sponging up novel information. Experienced across the entirety of the web stack: front end, application level, databases to infrastructure automation, his research efforts include the fields of biologics, optics, protein purification and biofuels. His past clientele range from bootstrapped software startups to The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center ( UPMC ), The University of Urbana Champaign ( UIUC ) and fortune 100 companies. Carl prides himself of the breadth of his knowledge and his insatiable curiosity. His current pursuits have found him at the junction of HTTP robotics, biologics and control software design. He holds a Bachelors of Business Marketing from Pitt and is self-taught in biology, machine learning and application engineering.
