Mini Maker Faire Update (poor position for booth, and lighter traffic this year; make sure have enough DNA extraction supplies for higher traffic); keep DNA extraction + kids to one side to also engage adults 2. Woodrow Wilson Center is having a policy roundtable meeting on Oct. 29th. Eri Gentry will be attending and on the issues they will be discussing are synbio, Real Vegan Cheese, and Glowing plant. She would like to talk to Maria and/or Rebecca about our ELSI to know how to discuss our projects when she is there.
How do we get our cheese to qualify as Genetically recognized as Safe (GRAS)?
What are the regulations and criteria for synthetic chymosin, vanilla? Do they need to show some level of purity? Absence of DNA?
